Acceptable Use Policy
Last Updated: August 8, 2026
1. Scope
Katie AI (katie.chat) provides AI-assisted sales content generation (including text outreach assets and any image- or video-related generation features we make available). This Acceptable Use Policy (“AUP”) applies to all content you submit as inputs and all content generated, stored, or distributed through the Service.
Covered content types include:
- Text — cold emails, call scripts, ICP research, follow-up sequences, coaching notes, and other AI-written copy
- Images / video — any image-to-video, text-to-video, or related generative media features offered on the platform
- User inputs — product briefs, URLs, prompts, uploaded media, and other materials you provide
By using Katie AI you agree to this AUP together with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy.
2. Six prohibited content categories
Katie AI prohibits generating, uploading, requesting, or distributing content in any of the following six categories:
- Pornography / NSFW — sexual, pornographic, or sexually explicit content; fetish content; non-consensual intimate imagery
- Violence / gore — graphic violence, gore, torture, or content that glorifies severe physical harm
- Hate speech — content that attacks, demeans, or incites discrimination or violence against people based on protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, gender, sexual orientation, disability, etc.)
- Child-unsafe content — any sexual, exploitative, or otherwise harmful content involving anyone 17 or under; child sexual abuse material (CSAM) is zero-tolerance and may be reported to authorities
- Deepfakes / impersonation — synthetic media or copy that impersonates a real person without authorization, including deceptive deepfakes, voice clones of real individuals, or false attribution of statements
- Copyright / trademark infringement — content that infringes copyrights, trademarks, trade dress, or other IP rights of third parties (including using proprietary brand assets or creative works you do not own or license)
The following are actioned immediately and may be reported to law enforcement:
- CSAM or any sexual content involving minors
- Content that promotes terrorism, mass violence, or genocide
- Non-consensual intimate deepfakes targeting real individuals
2.2 Other prohibited conduct
- Jailbreak or safety-bypass prompts intended to evade platform controls
- Bulk spam, phishing, malware distribution, or fraud-related outreach
- Submitting inputs you have no right to use
- Using the Service for any illegal purpose under applicable law
3. Content moderation
We operate a multi-layer moderation approach:
3.1 Automated review
- Input screening — prompts and submitted text/media may be screened before generation for the prohibited categories above
- Provider-side filters — third-party AI model providers may apply their own safety filters and refuse unsafe generations
- Account-scoped storage — generated outputs are private to your account; there is no public gallery where violating content can circulate by default
3.2 Human review
- Content flagged by automation can be held for manual review by the platform operator
- User reports are reviewed manually
- Critical (child safety / terrorism) reports are prioritized
3.3 Periodic audits
- We may sample account activity and generation logs
- Moderation decisions may be retained for audit, safety, and dispute handling
3.4 Severity levels
| Level | Description | Review | Typical action |
|---|
| L1 — Critical | Child safety, terrorism, CSAM | Auto-block + human confirmation | Immediate ban + report to authorities |
| L2 — High | Severe prohibited categories | Priority human review | Remove content + suspend account |
| L3 — Medium | Clear AUP violations | Human review | Warning + removal |
| L4 — Low | Minor / borderline issues | Report-triggered | Warning + required edit |
4. Enforcement / violation handling
If we determine that content or behavior violates this AUP, we may take one or more of the following actions:
- Warning — written notice requiring removal or correction
- Content removal — delete or disable access to violating inputs/outputs
- Credit or feature restriction — limit generation features or forfeit unused credits without refund where permitted
- Account suspension — temporary suspension pending investigation
- Permanent ban — terminate access for L1 or repeated L2 violations
- Legal escalation — report to authorities and cooperate with investigations for criminal-level violations
We may act with or without prior notice when necessary to protect users, third parties, or the platform.
